By employing a sufficient number of highly experienced project managers, H2 provides clients with individualized attention while offering the advantages of having a formidable support staff. Our Project Managers have from 10 to 30 years experience in the building industry, resulting in a thorough knowledge of the construction process. In addition they have developed the necessary communication skills in order to provide our clients with guidance and input throughout the course of construction.Communications: In addition to maintaining a constant dialogue with their individual clients, the Project Managers conduct weekly meetings for the purpose of coordinating staff efforts. At the same time the Production Board is updated and reviewed to insure that Critical Path scheduling is maintained, allowing the construction process to flow smoothly. Weekly Photographs are taken of each home by the project managers and posted on H2’s website so that clients can follow the progress of their home as well as have the opportunity to examine critical details as their home progresses.
H2 has professional Interior Designers who work with clients and the Project Managers to insure that the selection process progresses in an orderly fashion to insure that the construction schedule is maintained. Selection decisions are reviewed relative to the Critical Path schedule, while appointments with suppliers are arranged and clients are accompanied by the Interior Designer who provides whatever assistance the clients need. Decisions are documented and then communicated in a timely manner to the Project Manager
H2 homes are distinguished by the exceptional detail found in their homes. To accomplish this, H2 employs a staff of highly skilled artisans who are responsible for the interior trim, stone work, flooring installation and finish details. By controlling these critical aspects, H2 can offer details (panelized arches, coffered ceilings, custom crown moldings, paneling, wainscot, built-ins, bath and stone designs, etc.) unavailable from most builders. The attention to detail by these craftspeople and their commitment to excellence truly sets H2’s homes apart.
H2 Builders offers clients a Design/Build Program that features a collaborative effort between the clients, builder and architect/designer utilizing a team approach. This concept allows clients to consider design possibilities and cost inputs as well as value engineering suggestions by H2 as the plans progress, insuring design and cost compatibility. The process, typically taking two to three months, evolves from a site evaluation and initial floor plans and preliminary estimates based upon the clients inputs, to completed plans and specifications, architectural review board approvals and a fixed price construction contract. The Design/Build Agreement insures that the client obtains house plans and specifications, and all necessary landscape, drainage and structural engineering plans that meet all community and municipal code requirements while benefiting from the substantial cost reductions of H2’s agreements with the various professionals involved. This streamlined process allows clients to concentrate on the important design aspects of their home while H2 coordinates with the various entities on behalf of its clients. This streamlined process, combined with H2’s critical path building schedule, gives clients the opportunity to enjoy their new home in a most timely fashion.
