Born and raised in the United States Virgin Islands, Genelle Joseph has always been in love with purposeful interior design rooted in cultural influence. Her desire to create beautiful and functional spaces led her to fall in love with residential design and her philosophy is built on designing with intention and with goals of client satisfaction.
Genelle received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the CIDA and NASAD Accredited program at Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro campus. Shortly after graduation in 2020, she began her professional journey as a design expert at a tile and hard surface flooring specialty retailer in Savannah, GA before joining the H2 Design team in 2022. Genelle believes that building homes is rewarding, and her passion stems from seeing her clients’ dreams come to life.

The owners of this Moreland retreat challenged us to create something different while remaining true to the spirit of the region.
Their incredible attention to detail, from planning around the natural elements to shaping a multi-generational floor plan, inspired a home that is both intelligent and soulful. The design responds directly to the tidal floodplains, with flanking architecture at the rear that frames the magnificent marsh vistas. The infinity-edge pool creates a stunning illusion, seamlessly merging the terrace with the marsh. The result is a home tailored to our clients, designed to accommodate their family for holiday visits and weekend getaways for years to come.
Cool, contemporary, and natural, we loved bringing this vision to life in Palmetto Bluff. That view, though!
